About Me
I have more than 20 years of experience as a nonprofit organizational strategist, fundraiser, and manager. My practice is grounded in sound and clear processes that advance organizational goals. I collaborate with clients of various sizes in many industries and phases of development. I prioritize building relationships with individuals to understand what they and their teams need to succeed.
After starting my career at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, I was responsible for a portfolio of reunion campaigns and individual donors with the Harvard College Fund, where fundraising totals for marquee reunion classes often reached eight or nine-figures.
As a manager, I have focused on training staff and volunteers, enhancing operational systems, and developing collaborative teams. At Harvard Medical School, I built a new team – and supporting processes – whose responsibilities included individual and annual giving, reunion and alumni engagement events, marketing and publishing, and more.
I have applied my experience to large and small organizations across a variety of industries including the arts, science and medicine, and education.
While I still say I’m “from” Florida, having spent eight formative childhood years in Gator-nation, I have now spent more than half my life in the Boston-area. I attended Smith College before moving to Boston after a brief stint working in professional theater in Baltimore. I now live in Newton, MA, with my husband and two teenagers where ice-hockey and travel adventures consume the family’s schedule, and I spend as much time as possible outdoors with my dog or in my favorite CrossFit gym.
